The purpose of the HCAP Student Success Advocate program is to support students in the College for Health, Community and Policy who need additional assistance meeting their academic goals.
HCAP Student Success Advocates are successful students who serve as role models to the college’s undergraduate students. They are expected to maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA and good standing in the university. HCAP Student Success Advocates will provide guidance and encouragement to their assigned students by creating opportunities for skill building, fostering a sense of community and belonging, and sharing campus and community resources to enhance students’ HCAP experience.
