Undergraduate Advisors of Record – (UGAR): The UGARs are faculty in each department who meet with and assist undergraduate students and share information about department majors, discipline-related opportunities, and general information about a students’ opportunities and progress. These faculty and their contact information can be found on each department’s website.

HCAP UGARs by Department:

Graduate Advisors of Record – (GAR): The GARs are faculty in each department who inform and advise on university-wide graduate program policies related to the Graduate School. The GARs are the primary managers of the graduate student life cycle from application and admission through graduation, and operate as the point of contact for potential and current graduate students.
