Student Success Advocates provide guidance and encouragement by creating opportunities for skill building, fostering a sense of community and belonging, and sharing campus and community resources to enhance students’ HCAP experience.
Alicia Ziegler I am a Junior at UT San Antonio studying Public Health on the pre-med track. I’m excited to serve and help students feel supported as they navigate college life. My goal is to become a physician and make a positive impact in the community. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows, cooking, reading fiction, and trying out new restaurants with friends and family.
Alina Sabogal I am majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. I’ve worked at the HCAP Student Success Center since 2023, and I truly love this role because it gives me the chance to connect with students, share my experience, and be a source of support as they navigate college life. Being in this role has been so rewarding. I enjoy helping others feel encouraged, confident, and welcomed here at UT San Antonio.
Delaney Stevens I am a senior at UT San Antonio majoring in Kinesiology, working to attend Physical Therapy school after graduation. In this role, I enjoy meeting new students, connecting them with valuable campus resources, and supporting their growth as they navigate college life. I am passionate about helping others succeed both academically and personally, and I strive to make a positive impact in the student community.
Gavyn Gonzales I am a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. This is my first year with the HCAP Student Sucess Center and I am excited to work with my fellow students and help them in this challenging environment. My hobbies are playing guitar and playing video games. I hope to have a fun semester and grow from this opportunity.
Jarod Troup I am a senior Kinesiology major. I plan on becoming a respiratory therapist and hope to attend UT Health San Antonio for my Master's. I enjoy playing pickleball and going to amusement parks for fun.
Sudais Imtiaz I am a senior Public Health student with a wide range of interests in the field. My favorite part of working in the HCAP Student Success Center is connecting with fellow students to help them feel supported during their time as a ‘Runner. In my free time, I love to bake and read. I am excited to connect with other HCAP students!
