| Tina Zawacki, Ph.D.
Associate Professor & Principal Investigator Dr. Zawacki received her Ph.D. in Social and Health Psychology from Wayne State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in addictive behaviors at the University of Washington. Her research program investigates the social and cognitive processes involved in health-related behaviors, with an emphasis on the role of alcohol. She has authored 30 publications on these topics and has had continuous NIH funding since 2003. |
| Natalia Garcia, M.S.
Project Coordinator Natalia received her B.A. in Psychology and her M.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008 and 2011, respectively. She conducted a laboratory experiment examining the effects of alcohol and relationship context on women’s HIV-relevant decision making for her Master’s Thesis. Currently, Natalia is working on an alcohol administration experiment at the DYAD Laboratory, which investigates young adult women’s sexual risk behavior during a role-play interaction with a male actor. Her primary research interest involves understanding the potential roles of alcohol and relationship context on women’s sexual decision making. |

Meghan Crabtree, B.A. Graduate Research Assistant Meghan is pursuing her M.S. in Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is currently a graduate research assistant for the DYAD Laboratory. She is involved in the research and administrative development of the Social Negotiation and Alcohol Project (SNAP), an NIH funded study investigating alcohol's involvement in women's HIV/AIDS relevant behavior. Her research interests include the cognitive, affective and behavioral processes impacting risky sexual decision-making in the context of interpersonal relationships. In particular, her research examines the individual and interactive influence of interpersonal rejection sensitivity and perceptions of rejecting cues on women's risky sexual decision-making. |

| Andrea Fernandez, B.A.
Graduate Research Assistant Andrea is currently working in the DYAD Laboratory investigating women's sexual risk-taking behavior. Previous research experience includes health psychology research investigating relationships between stress and sleep, and social psychology research investigating personality traits related to sexual risk-taking. Andrea is pursuing her Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, concentrating in health policy analysis and community-based health promotion. Her thesis and practicum involve integrating policy analysis with health promotion to create and evaluate policies addressing the issue of obesity in the city of San Antonio, TX. |

| Monica Yndo, B.A.
Graduate Research Assistant Monica graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a first year graduate student pursing her M.S. degree in Psychology at UTSA. She has been a research assistant in the DYAD Laboratory since her final semester of undergrad. Currently Monica is assisting in NIH funded research examining alcohol and relationship effects on women’s health decisions. Her research interests include forensic/clinical and social/health psychology. After completion of her M.S. degree she plans to further her education in a Ph.D. program. |

| Javier Torres
Undergraduate Research Assistant Javier is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor focused on the sciences. He hopes to attend Physician Assistant school after graduating from UTSA. He started working in the DYAD Laboratory as an independent study student and has since then become involved in the study of women's sexual risky behavior. |

Research Assistant Anissa graduated with her M.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is currently an instructor and research assistant (in the DYAD Laboratory) at UTSA. Previous research experience includes human processing of multidimensional visual information investigating mesopic vision, and cognitive psychology research investigating intelligence and its relationship to important academic outcomes. |
