The City of San Antonio (COSA) Transportation Department is dedicated to achieving Vision Zero to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all. To inform these efforts, COSA Transportation is interested in learning more about public health approaches that can inform strategies to reduce the incidence of deaths and accidents associated with distracted driving and subsequently developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan to target high-risk drivers. The UTSA team aims to implement a pilot intervention to evaluate its feasibility and acceptability, to reduce risk factors associated with distracted driving.
