(Sept. 4, 2019) — Four COPP faculty received promotion and tenure for for their outstanding achievements in the areas of teaching, research and discovery, and service to the university and community.
Candace Christensen, promoted to Associate Professor, Department of Social Work 
Heidi Rueda, promoted to Associate Professor, Department of Social Work
Johnelle Sparks, promoted to Professor, Department of Demography
Rob Tillyer, promoted to Professor, Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice
Christensen and Rueda received promotion with tenure. Sparks and Tillyer were promoted to full professor for sustained professional accomplishment.
