Assistant Professor of Practice, Criminology and Criminal Justice
Kevin L. Watts is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He brings more than two decades of federal law enforcement experience, having served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General, and as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General. His investigative background includes complex financial fraud, white collar crime, asset forfeiture, and interagency task force operations. At UT San Antonio, he teaches courses in criminal investigations, criminal justice ethics, white collar crime, and juvenile justice, integrating academic theory with practical field experience to prepare students for careers in the justice system.
