Lecturer, Criminology and Criminal Justice
Lorina Rummel brings over 30 years of criminal trial experience into the classroom. She was a felony district court Judge, prosecutor and defense attorney here in Bexar County. She has handled thousands of felony cases and tried hundreds of felony criminal cases to verdict. The subject matter ranged from felony theft to capital murder death penalty cases. At UT San Antonio, she has taught Criminal Procedure, Ethics in Criminal Justice Fields and Management of Criminal Organizations. She incorporates her past courtroom experiences into the classroom instruction to help demonstrate the various issues taught. She brings in real world examples and cases to make her lectures more informative and understandable.
