Bio

With over 33 years of experience in law enforcement, data analysis, and intelligence, Glass is a deputy director at the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), where he leads the Southwest Texas Fusion Center and the Strategic Intelligence and Analytics Unit. His mission is to enhance public safety, crime prevention, and criminal justice through data- driven solutions, collaboration, and innovation. He is passionate about improving the quality and efficiency of policing, fostering community engagement, and advancing justice policy research and education.

As a deputy director, Glass manages a team of 15 data analysts and crime intelligence analysts, and oversee the development of various data and intelligence initiatives, such as COMPSTAT, web-based case management, regional information sharing, and data liaison. He also leverages his expertise in GIS and statistical analysis to provide accurate and timely data and reports to internal and external stakeholders, such as local universities, non-profit agencies, and local governments.
