Description
This workshop is an introduction to digital scholarship and how you can leverage digital tools in your own research. In this workshop, we will engage in analog approaches to the digital, starting with hand-drawn versions of digital humanities outputs: sketched maps, messy networks, and imperfect word clouds. By working in the analog, participants will learn some of the basic affordances of computational methods without getting lost in the often hyper-technical demands of digital approaches.
