Description
The inaugural session (virtual) will be on February 26, 2025, followed by two in-person days (with virtual option) at UNAH in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 6, 2025. Attendance is free, but they do ask that you register as soon as possible.
Most sessions will take place in Spanish, but thanks to UTRGV there will also be professional simultaneous translation to English.
There are few issues that fully capture the local-global aspect of our program mission like human migration, and this is a particularly important moment for social workers to step up and respond. This conference is a great opportunity to connect with social workers and researches from Canada to South America to convene around best practices, policies and more.
