Assistant Professor Megan Augustyn will receive $20,000 for support of her research project under the Grants for Research Advancement and Transformation (GREAT) Program.
Augustyn’s research project is entitled C ollege Crime Victimization Survey: Examining Traditional and Cybervictimization among College Students at a Hispanic Service Institution . Performance period will begin on Sept. 1, 2018 and end August 31, 2019.
The GREAT program, sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research, provides seed grants to support new areas of research for faculty at UTSA. This funding initiative enhances scholarly and creative activities and encourages faculty to look for new financial opportunities. The goal of these awards is to assemble preliminary data that can be used to seek extramural funding.
