Henry Meade selected as honorary coach of the UTSA vs. Drake women’s basketball game

Henry Meade, lecturer II in the department of criminal justice, was selected as an honorary coach of the UTSA vs. Drake women’s basketball game on Friday, November 28, 2014.  Kamra King, a student of Meade’s, is also a player on the UTSA’s women’s basketball team.  She invited Meade to serve as an honorary coach of the game.  Emily Sherman, director of operations of the UTSA WBB team, credits Meade for aiding in the recruitment of King to come to the University of Texas at San Antonio.  The team expressed that Meade has made an incredible impact on King’s and many of the players’ academic experience here at UTSA.

As an honorary coach, Meade had the opportunity to shoot hoops, attend the pre-game meal prior to tip off, sit in the VIP seating behind the bench, and receive a gift during the pre-game introductions.
